Obverse: DN GRATIANVS PF AVG. Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right.
Reverse: GLORIA ROMANORVM. Gratian advancing right, holding labarum decorated with Chi-rho and dragging captive, hands bound behind his back, by the hair. R/ *(A/B)SISC.
